Our priority when styling an event is that, firstly, it looks freaking spectacular and, secondly, that it screams you. We want every little detail to reflect your personality so that the final product is as unique as you are. Our creative instincts, attention to detail and extensive experience will ensure that your event will run seamlessly and exceed all your expectations.
So what exactly does an event stylist do?
As a stylist, I am responsible for every little detail that contributes to the overall look of an event; from the furniture to lighting and all the finer details such as flowers, decor and table settings. All these elements, when carefully selected, work together to create an ambience that guests will feel as soon as they enter the space. It is my job to choose the right pieces for your event and map out the proper placement of those items within the venue. On the day of the event, I will bring everything together to make your vision a reality.
The journey of making your dreams a reality begins with a free, no obligation consultation with yours truly (Hayley Reid - Owner, Creator and Event Stylist). During our meeting, I will ask you to lay all of your ideas out on the table for me. We will browse your Pinterest boards or flick through magazines over coffee while we chat about your grand plans. (P.S. it's totally fine if you have absolutely no idea what you want! I've got your back and am here to help!) Once I have a good understanding of your vision and of what is required to bring it to fruition, I will get to work on creating a custom and detailed quotation for you. If you are happy with the quote and ready to give me the go-ahead then I will jump at your event with all guns blazing!
I will start by finalising a list of all the Rustic Romance hire items you will need and make vendor recommendations for any other items you may require. Perth has an abundance of suppliers and I love getting the opportunity to work with the exquisite furniture, decor, blooms and services they have on offer. I can do as little or as much as you like! If you are hands-on and want to be involved in the process then I can simply point you in the right direction or if you want me to do all the leg work for you, I will happily liaise with all vendors and coordinate all aspects of their involvement in your event.
On the big day I will be at the venue bright and early, ready to work my magic! I will ensure that all the delivered items are placed in the correct position and will take my time setting up all the finer details until I am happy that everything is absolutely perfect. Then comes my absolute favourite part of the job! I get to sit back, watch you arrive at the venue and see the look on your face as you walk into your dream! I will stick around for the remainder of the event to make any set changes if required and be on hand to assist where I can. When your magical event has come to the end, I will be there to pack everything up and assist with the removal of all the hire items.
