Hi! I'm Hayley Reid; Sustainable Event Stylist, Coordinator and Florist. I created our Perth-based family business with my husband, Dan, and we operate it together today, Here's us on our wedding day in 2013, when the story of Rustic Romance began.
We had an intimate ceremony at Yanchep National Park then celebrated with our nearest and dearest (and our fur babies!) at our laid-back, rustic backyard wedding.
We wanted fun and quirky vibes for our special day so we began hunting for unique vintage furniture & decor. After our wedding we offered our collection for hire and Rustic Romance was created.
Since then our services have evolved to include sustainable event styling, coordination and flowers. And our hire collection is always growing thanks to my obsession with all things rustic and vintage!
I am the creative force in the team, always hunting for unique treasures, playing with flowers and dreaming up new creations. Dan is my craftsman who brings my ideas to life using only recycled materials. He also helps out with deliveries when extra muscle is required.
In 2022, we embarked on a new journey and started our very own flower farm! We have fallen in love with farming and we are proud to offer local, seasonal and organic flowers. We apply our passion for sustainability to the farm by practicing regenerative agriculture. If we are going to be working together on something as special as your wedding day then it is so important that we are your type of people so let's get personal!
We love getting out in nature with our kids & exploring this amazing country we are lucky enough to call home! We love camping, hiking, boating, kayaking, fishing, 4 wheel driving and wildflower seeking.
We spend a lot of time on the farm... working, hanging with the farm animals, growing fresh produce, quad riding and sitting around the fire pit with a drink.
We love music and frequently partake in karaoke! We have a karaoke system set up in our shed where you will often find us having family dance parties!
We are always looking for recycled materials for our custom creations & farm projects so we often go rummaging through recycling centres and salvage yards together. In fact, a trip to our local tip then grabbing a pint at our local seaside tavern has become a tradition for us. It's our version of a hot date!
We are down to earth & easy-going and we are always up for a fun time, a good laugh and a bit of banter! We are hard working and passionate about what we do!
